Pune: To facilitate a smooth and comfortable journey for passengers during the Holi festival, Central Railway has announced the operation of 34 additional special trains on key routes. These special services will operate between various cities, including Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru, with destinations such as Banaras, Mau, Danapur, Madgaon, Hisar, and others.
Here are the details of the special trains:
CSMT-Banaras-CSMT Special (2 trips)
Train 01013 departs CSMT at 22:30 hrs on 13.03.2025 and arrives at Banaras at 05:30 hrs on the third day.
Train 01014 departs Banaras at 08:00 hrs on 15.03.2025 and arrives at CSMT at 13:30 hrs the following day.
Halts: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Varanasi Jn.
Composition: AC-2 Tier, AC-3 Tier Economy, Sleeper Class, General Second Class, and more.
CSMT-Mau-CSMT Special (2 trips)
Train 01015 departs CSMT at 22:30 hrs on 12.03.2025 and reaches Mau at 10:30 hrs on the third day.
Train 01016 departs Mau at 17:00 hrs on 14.03.2025 and arrives at CSMT at 00:40 hrs on the third day.
Halts: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Varanasi Jn, and Jaunpur.
LTT-Danapur-LTT Special (2 trips)
Train 01011 departs LTT at 10:30 hrs on 10.03.2025 and arrives at Danapur at 18:45 hrs the next day.
Train 01012 departs Danapur at 21:30 hrs on 11.03.2025 and reaches LTT at 04:50 hrs the third day.

Reservation Details: Bookings for these special trains can be made at all computerized reservation centers and on the IRCTC website (www.irctc.co.in). Bookings for train numbers 01013, 01015, 01011, 01419, and 04726 are already open. Bookings for train numbers 01103, 01101, 03426, and 06520 will open on 10.03.2025. Tickets for the unreserved MEMU special trains (train numbers 01017/01018) can be booked through UTS at normal charges.
These special trains will ensure that passengers have a hassle-free and safe journey during the Holi festival season.
