Pimpri Chinchwad: In a shocking turn of events, it has been revealed that the recent incident in Hinjewadi, which was initially believed to be an accident, was actually a deliberate act of sabotage. The driver involved in the explosion, Janardan Hambardikar, reportedly brought chemicals and placed them under the seat of the vehicle, intentionally setting the stage for a blast.
The incident occurred when one-way traffic was implemented on Phase 1 road. Hambardikar ignited the fire using a matchstick, leading to the chemical explosion. However, it was discovered that the driver had exited the vehicle before the blast took place, raising suspicions of foul play.
Further investigation revealed that the driver had been facing personal issues, including a salary cut during Diwali and mistreatment from colleagues in the vehicle. Sources suggest that these grievances led Hambardikar to carry out the explosive act.
The driver had a dispute with three individuals and planned to harm them, which ultimately led to the orchestrated explosion.
Authorities are now conducting further investigations into the case to understand the full extent of the incident and hold the responsible party accountable.
