Mumbai: Satish Salian, father of late celebrity manager Disha Salian, has reiterated his allegations that Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) MLA and former minister Aditya Thackeray, along with actors Suraj Pancholi and Dino Morea, were involved in his daughter’s alleged murder. He has demanded that all three undergo a narco test. Speaking to a news agency, Salian stated that he is fighting for justice for his daughter.
Disha Salian, who was actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager, died on June 8, 2020, after allegedly falling from the 14th floor of a building. A week later, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence. The recent CBI closure report confirmed that Sushant died by suicide. However, Satish Salian has once again filed a petition, reigniting the controversy surrounding his daughter’s death.
On Tuesday, Satish Salian submitted a letter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner, accusing Aditya Thackeray of being responsible for his daughter’s death. He also named actor Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh, dismissed police officer Sachin Waze, and actress Rhea Chakraborty, demanding action against them.
Speaking to the media, Satish Salian said, “I have requested justice from the Mumbai Police. I have also asked for protection for myself and my legal team. I am willing to undergo a narco test, but Aditya Thackeray, Suraj Pancholi, and the others should also undergo the test. They were in power for nearly two and a half years and even formed an SIT to investigate the case, but nothing came out of it. That is why I have to come forward now. I have complete faith in the judiciary. I will ensure that my daughter gets justice by identifying the culprits and ensuring they are punished.”
Disha Salian’s lawyer, Nilesh Ojha, has also urged the authorities to provide police protection to all key individuals involved in the case. He emphasized that the case has been pending for nearly 15 months and suggested that a crime scene reconstruction should be conducted to uncover critical details.
