Pune: Pune International Airport has introduced its summer flight schedule, effective Sunday, March 30, to accommodate the seasonal rise in travel demand. Under the revised timetable, the airport will manage between 104 to 109 departures daily, with an equal number of arrivals, enhancing travel options for passengers heading to cooler destinations during the summer break.
Every year, aviation authorities implement special measures to handle the summer rush. With school exams concluding, many families opt for vacations in cooler regions. Previously, passengers faced delays and other disruptions in air travel. To mitigate these issues, Pune Airport has updated its schedule, ensuring smoother operations and improved efficiency.
The Airports Authority of India has adjusted the winter flight schedule to accommodate the summer timetable. Previously, Pune Airport managed around 90 departures and 90 arrivals daily, totaling approximately 180 flights per day. With the revised summer schedule, this number has now increased to 204 daily flights—104 outgoing and 104 incoming—offering passengers greater flexibility.
The updated schedule includes 35 inter-state and international flights, connecting Pune to popular global destinations such as Dubai, Singapore, and Bangkok. Additionally, flights to various domestic cities across Maharashtra and other Indian states have been retained, ensuring broad connectivity.
While no new destinations have been introduced, existing routes from the winter schedule remain operational. Pune Airport continues to offer three international flights to Bangkok, Singapore, and Dubai, alongside domestic services to key cities such as Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Ranchi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Delhi, Goa, Indore, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Kochi, Trivandrum, Jaipur, Rajkot, Surat, Dehradun, Hubli, Raipur, Bhavnagar, and Amritsar.
With this expanded summer flight schedule, Pune Airport aims to provide travelers with a seamless and convenient travel experience, catering to the increasing demand during the holiday season.
