Pune: Police conducted raids on two separate gambling dens in the Loni Kalbhor area, seizing gambling materials and cash during the operations. Four individuals have been booked in connection with the illegal activities.

One of the raids was carried out near Theur Bridge, where police had received information about a gambling den where a game was being played.

In this operation, ₹60,000 in cash were seized, with the total value of confiscated materials amounting to ₹82,580. The arrested individuals were identified as Rajabhau Sheshrao Musale (40, resident of Theur, Haveli taluka) and Ram Rajendra Gire (36, resident of Gadhave Mala, Kunjirwadi, Haveli taluka).

In another action, the police received a tip-off about an illegal “Matka” gambling den operating in the Kadamwak Vasti area of Loni Kalbhor.

The team from Loni Kalbhor Police Station, including Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Panhale, Sub-Inspector Digambar Sontakke, Mahesh Chavan, Ravi Aher, Malhar Dhamdhere, Mangesh Nanapure, and Sandeep Dhumal, played key roles in executing the raids
