Pune: In a disturbing incident that has unsettled the community in Pune’s Bibwewadi region, a mother and her live-in partner have been apprehended for allegedly inflicting severe abuse on her underage daughter, reportedly as an act of retaliation for disclosing their unlawful relationship.
Police reports indicate that the minor disclosed her mother’s affair with the accused, Gurudev Kumar Swami, to her landlord. In response to this revelation, the mother, allegedly aided by Swami, is said to have stripped her daughter, filmed an inappropriate video of her, and shared it with acquaintances, including Swami and some family members. Subsequent investigations uncovered that the woman also coerced her boyfriend into engaging in an immoral relationship with the girl, an incident that has profoundly disturbed the local community.
After the video was made public, the pair escaped the vicinity but were subsequently captured by Bibwewadi police on Saturday. Officials reported that both individuals had previously exhibited questionable conduct, and the seriousness of this event has sparked significant outrage and worry among the local community.
Authorities have verified that the motive behind the crime was revenge against the daughter for revealing the affair.
