Pune: A tragic accident occurred at Rajgad Water Sports in Bhor Taluka, Pune, during the summer vacation rush. While enjoying a zipline ride, 28-year-old Taral Atpalkar fell from a stool, plunging from a height of 30 feet. The incident has shocked the local community, especially as the area has been seeing increased tourist activity due to the holidays.
In response to the incident, the Rajgad police have registered a case against the owner, manager, and seven other individuals associated with the water sports facility. The authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident to determine whether proper safety measures and precautions were in place at the time of the mishap.
Police Superintendent Pankaj Deshmukh confirmed that an inquiry has been launched to assess the safety protocols followed at Rajgad Water Sports. The investigation will focus on whether adequate safeguards were in place to prevent such accidents and if any negligence contributed to the young woman’s tragic death.
