Pune: BJP National President J. P. Nadda today visited the renowned Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati temple in Pune, offering an Abhishek (ritual anointment) and prayers for the nation. He prayed for the complete eradication of terrorism from India, the maintenance of law and order across the country, and the well-being of all citizens.
During his prayers, Nadda also sought divine blessings for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, wishing him greater strength in the fight against terrorism.
The Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Public Ganpati Trust and Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal officially welcomed Nadda at the temple. Among those present were Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol, Rajesh Pande, Trust President Sunil Rasane, Treasurer Mahesh Suryawanshi, General Secretary and MLA Hemant Rasane, Festival Head Akshay Godse, along with other dignitaries including Prakash Chavan, Yatish Rasane, Tushar Raikar, and Sachin Akhade.
During the event, MLA Hemant Rasane briefed Nadda about the various social initiatives undertaken by the Trust.
Later, while interacting with the media, Nadda said, “We expect a strong and decisive response from Prime Minister Narendra Modi against the terrorist acts carried out in Pahalgam. I am confident that India will emerge stronger from this challenge and that the culprits will be brought to justice. I have prayed to Lord Ganesha for the wisdom and strength needed for India to overcome this crisis.”
