India: In response to repeated ceasefire violations by Pakistan, the Indian Army has released a video showcasing the destruction of a Pakistani military post across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. The post was reportedly targeted during a series of precision airstrikes carried out after Pakistan resumed cross-border firing, heightening tensions between the two nations.

While the exact location of the strike has not been disclosed, military sources confirmed that multiple Pakistani posts have been hit as Indian forces delivered a strong counter to continued provocations. The Army’s swift retaliation underscores its commitment to maintaining national security and protecting civilian lives.

The Indian Army, through an official statement on X (formerly Twitter), detailed that Pakistani forces initiated widespread attacks using drones and other munitions along the western border on the intervening night of May 8 and 9, 2025. These attacks were accompanied by numerous ceasefire violations along the LoC, including sectors like Kupwara and Uri. The Army stated that all drone incursions were successfully repelled and that a “befitting response” was delivered to the ceasefire breaches.

Reaffirming its stance, the Army emphasized its unwavering dedication to upholding India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, vowing to respond decisively to any hostile intent.

The heightened military activity follows India’s launch of Operation Sindoor, a targeted operation against terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). These strikes were a direct response to the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians. In retaliation, Indian forces conducted airstrikes on nine terror hubs, including locations in Islamabad, Lahore, and Sialkot. Among those reportedly killed were ten relatives of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar, along with four of his key associates.

The strategic precision and scale of India’s counter-offensive highlight its zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and its resolve to act decisively against any threat to national security.
