Wardha: Bhagyashree Fund from Pune clinched the prestigious Women’s Maharashtra Kesari title. She defeated Kolhapur’s Amruta Pujari in the final match with a score of 4-2.
The Women’s Maharashtra Kesari Wrestling Championship was held at the Ramdas Tadas Indoor Stadium in Deoli. Bhagyashree was honored with the traditional mace and the title of Women’s Maharashtra Kesari 2024-2025.
The event was graced by Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Wardha District Guardian Minister Pankaj Bhoyar, Anil Bode, and MLA Pratap Adsad.
The championship was organized under the aegis of the Maharashtra State Wrestling Association, with former MP and association president Ramdas Tadas taking the lead in hosting the event.
