Alandi : A horrific incident has come to light at a private Warkari educational institute for girls located on Kelgaon Road in Alandi, where a young woman was allegedly forcibly detained, raped, and coerced into marriage.

According to the complaint filed by the victim at the Shevgaon Police Station in Ahmednagar, five individuals have been accused of kidnapping and rape. The incident occurred on June 2, 2025, when the victim was alone at home. A known woman lured her out under the pretext of visiting a field. On the way, she was forcibly abducted by Annasaheb Andhale, Pravin Andhale, and an unidentified driver in a black Ertiga vehicle (registration MH 43 CC 7812). When she resisted and screamed, the accused threatened to throw acid on her.
The victim was then taken to a private Warkari educational institute in Alandi, where she was confined in a room. The accused, identified as Annasaheb Andhale, Pravin Andhale, kirtankar Sunita Andhale, and Abhimanyu Andhale, allegedly detained her. According to the complaint, Annasaheb Andhale raped her. The victim managed to seek help by contacting the emergency helpline number 112. Police promptly arrived at the scene and brought the involved individuals to the Alandi Police Station.
Initially, out of fear, the victim did not file a formal complaint. However, after confiding in her family, she lodged an official complaint on July 7, 2025, at the Shevgaon Police Station. The police have registered a case against Annasaheb Pralhad Andhale, Pravin Pralhad Andhale, the unidentified driver, Sunita Abhimanyu Andhale, and Abhimanyu Bhagwan Andhale.
The accused have been charged under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for kidnapping, coercion, rape, criminal intimidation, and criminal conspiracy. The police are conducting further investigations into the case.

This incident has sparked outrage, raising serious concerns about the safety of students in private educational institutions in Alandi.
