Pune: In a shocking act of violence earlier today near Kranti Hotel in Budhwar Peth, a man named Ganesh Kamble was brutally assaulted with sharp weapons. The primary suspect, a known repeat offender from Mangalwar Peth, allegedly carried out the attack with the help of associates from Lohia Nagar and Dattwadi.
Sources indicate that Kamble and the accused had been involved in a heated dispute over the past four days. Alarmingly, despite being aware of the escalating tensions, local law enforcement reportedly failed to intervene before the situation turned violent.
The incident has brought renewed attention to the deteriorating law and order in the area, which is already infamous for its association with drug-related activities. Residents claim that a habitual offender from Kondhwa is frequently seen peddling MD drugs in the locality, yet no visible action has been taken by the Faraskhana police.
