Pune: A 46-year-old builder was injured after being attacked by three men during a meeting at the Kath House area in Gahunje on Friday (20th) at around 1 p.m.
The accused — Atish Jayprakash Kesarwani (45), Akhilesh Jayprakash Kesarwani (43), and Sanjay Chavan (41), all residents of Somwar Peth, Pune — have been booked in the case.
According to police reports, Mahendrakumar Kanhaiyalal Kesri, a resident of Belmando, Gahunje, had been invited by the trio for a meeting at the Kath House area. An argument broke out during the meeting, and Atish struck Kesri on his lips with a ring, leaving him with injuries that required five stitches. The other two accused verbally abused Kesri and threatened him.
A complaint was lodged at Shirgaon Police Station, and a case has been registered. Police Constable Pohva Koklare is investigating the matter further.
