Pune: A theft occurred at Chandradeep Super Market on Law College Road, where unknown miscreants broke open the store’s lock and central shutter lock to steal cash and cosmetics. A case has been registered at the Deccan Police Station in connection with the incident.
The complaint was filed by Dinesh Somaram Rathod (40), a resident of Kothrud, Pune. Based on his statement, the police have registered a case against unknown individuals.
According to police reports, the burglary took place during the night between April 11 and 12. The store was closed at 10 p.m. on April 11. During the night, unidentified thieves cut the shutter lock and broke the central lock of the shop. They then entered the premises and stole cash and cosmetic products worth approximately ₹1.5 lakh.
Upon discovering the theft, the complainant immediately approached the Deccan Police Station and filed a report.
Senior Police Inspector Girisha Nimbalkar, Crime Inspector Prasad Raut, Sub-Inspector Ajay Bhosale, Assistant Police Constables Parge and Dengale, along with Sub-Inspector Chavan, visited the scene. Sub-Inspector Shelke is currently investigating the case.
