Pune: Automobile enthusiasts are in for a nostalgic treat as the Royal Western India Turf Club hosts a spectacular vintage and classic vehicle exhibition on March 29 and 30. This unique event will showcase over 120 rare automobiles, including cars, motorcycles, and scooters, some of which were once owned by historic and iconic figures such as Subhash Chandra Bose and Indira Gandhi.
Each vehicle on display has a rich history, offering visitors an opportunity to witness the evolution of transportation over the years. The exhibition, which opens Saturday at 10 a.m., is organized in collaboration with Michelin India, N M Tyres, and Maharashtra Tourism, among others.
A major highlight of the event will be India’s oldest running car, a 1903 Humber owned by Abbas Jasdanwalla from Mumbai. Alongside this remarkable vehicle, attendees will have the chance to explore a curated selection of automobiles from the Subhash B Sanas Vintage and Classic Car Museum.

A Chevrolet Impala convertible formerly owned by Indira Gandhi
Vehicles that belonged to Bollywood and Hollywood legends such as Amitabh Bachchan, Al Pacino, and Vinod Khanna
A 2009 Mercedes-Benz driven by Balasaheb Thackeray
The exhibition, open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., will feature rare and meticulously preserved vehicles from the collections of renowned automobile aficionados like Dhananjay Badamikar, Yohan Poonawalla, and Zaheer Vakil.
