Pune: A case has been registered against former Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Landge of the Chandan Nagar police station, along with four others, over allegations of conspiring to illegally acquire 10 acres of land in Wagholi, Pune. The accused include Anand Lalaheb Bhagat, Shailesh Sadasiv Thombre, Rajendra Savarsiddh Landge, and Aparna Yashpal Verma.
Initial investigations suggest that the group allegedly created a false identity of a woman, claiming her as the legitimate owner of the land to facilitate unlawful gains. The property involved is reportedly associated with a prominent real estate company in Pune, which has heightened interest from both the public and industry insiders.
The complaint was filed by a senior police officer, leading to the establishment of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to carry out a detailed inquiry. The incident has sparked significant concern within Pune’s real estate community, with many stakeholders closely monitoring the situation.
Authorities have indicated that the investigation is ongoing as they work to unravel the full extent of the conspiracy and identify all parties involved.
