Surendra Patil, a well-known reel star from Dombivli, has been accused of sexual assault by an air hostess working with a private airline. Following the serious allegations, an FIR has been registered against him, and Patil is currently on the run.
According to the victim, Surendra Patil promised her a job at the Mumbai airport and used that promise to sexually assault her. She further alleged that Patil threatened her at gunpoint, warning her not to tell anyone or he would kill her.
The woman, a native of Pune, said she first came across Patil through one of his Instagram reels. After liking the reel, Patil contacted her, gradually gaining her trust and obtaining her phone number. He then lured her with the promise of a job and allegedly committed the assault.
This is not the first time Surendra Patil has faced legal trouble. He had previously been arrested for creating reels inside a police station. However, the current charges are far more serious, involving sexual assault and criminal intimidation.
The Manpada Police have registered a case against Patil based on the complaint. As soon as the FIR was filed, Patil absconded. Police have launched a manhunt to track him down.
