Pune:Gautam Adani Baramati AI took centre stage in Maharashtra on Tuesday as Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani inaugurated the Sharadchandra Pawar Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence in Baramati. The initiative marks a significant step in positioning Baramati as an emerging hub for advanced technology and innovation.
Gautam Adani Baramati AI reflects India’s transition into the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Speaking at the event, Adani said the inauguration was a historic moment and an honour for him personally. He stressed that artificial intelligence will define the future of nations, industries, and societies.
“Mobile technology connected India to the world. Artificial intelligence will expand India’s capabilities,” Adani said. He added that real transformation begins when AI moves from laboratories into real-world applications. According to him, mastery over AI will become the strongest source of power, prosperity, and national self-reliance.
Gautam Adani Baramati AI also highlighted the growing role of regional centres in national development. Adani described Baramati as more than a location on the map, calling it a living symbol of progress, change, and opportunity. He said the town now represents how education, leadership, and vision can converge to create lasting impact.
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and MLA Rohit Pawar welcomed Adani at Baramati airport ahead of the inauguration. At the event, Adani praised Sharad Pawar’s leadership, noting that effective politics focuses on aligning people, institutions, and long-term vision rather than slogans.
The Gautam Adani Baramati AI centre aims to promote research, skill development, and industry-linked AI applications. Local leaders believe it will benefit students, researchers, and startups while strengthening Maharashtra’s technology ecosystem.
