Pune: A bizarre incident occurred near the flyover adjacent to a golf course when a white golf ball flew out of the course and struck a journalist riding a two-wheeler in the chest. Following the incident, a case has been registered at Yerwada Police Station.
A complaint has been filed against the golf club management and an unidentified individual. Pranil Anil Kusale (35, resident of Kamaraj Nagar, Yerwada, Pune) lodged the complaint at Yerwada Police Station.
According to the police, complainant Pranil Kusale is a journalist by profession. On Saturday (March 29) around 5 PM, he was traveling on a two-wheeler with his friend Sandeep Bhatkar from Gunjan Chowk towards Yerwada Jail. As they reached the flyover near the golf club, a white golf ball suddenly came flying from the course and hit Kusale in the chest, causing him injury.
Following this, Kusale lodged a complaint at Yerwada Police Station, and a case has been registered accordingly. Further investigation is being conducted by Police Constable Reddy.
