In adult safety, the Amaze delivered solid results in two major impact assessments. It scored 14.33 out of 16 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test. It also registered 14 out of 16 in the side movable deformable barrier test. Good cabin integrity and effective energy absorption were maintained in both tests. Standard equipment includes frontal airbags, belt pre-tensioners, load limiters, curtain airbags, and ESC. All tested units were manufactured in India with a tested weight of 1,241kg.

The Amaze also performed strongly in child safety. It posted a combined score of 40.81 through excellent dynamic test results, scoring 23.81 out of 24. It also achieved a full 12 out of 12 in CRS installation. Honda has equipped the compact sedan with ESC, a side head protection system with curtain airbags, and pedestrian protection technology as standard. A seat belt reminder is also included across all variants.
This achievement places the Amaze directly against the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, which also holds a full five-star Bharat NCAP rating. The rival comparison strengthens market competition and gives buyers more confidence while choosing safer vehicles in the segment.
The new rating boosts Honda’s position in India’s safety-focused market. It also highlights Bharat NCAP’s growing influence over purchase decisions. With this strong showing, the Amaze continues to stand out as a reliable and secure option for families and daily commuters.
