Pune: Residents of Karvenagar took to the streets, forming a human chain to protest the delay in the Shivane-Kharadi road project. The protestors expressed their frustration over the ongoing issues of traffic congestion and poor connectivity, urging authorities to prioritize the completion of the road.
In response to their concerns, Aniruddh Pawaskar, Chief of the Pune Municipal Corporation’s Road Department, addressed the crowd. He assured the residents that the necessary steps were being taken to expedite the work and explained the technical challenges involved in the project.
The protestors emphasized the pressing need for the road’s completion, stressing that it was crucial for improving traffic flow and connectivity in the area.
