Pune: A molestation case has been registered against a man in Lonikand for persistently harassing a woman with obscene phone calls for the past nine months.
According to police reports, the accused, who resides near the complainant’s home, illegally obtained her phone number and repeatedly called her with inappropriate remarks. After enduring continuous harassment, the woman decided to approach the police and file a complaint.
Following her report, the Lonikand police registered a case against the accused under sections related to molestation and offensive communication. The investigation is currently being handled by Police Sub-Inspector Dilip Palve.
