Pune: The Maharashtra Navnirman Vidyarthi Sena (MNSV) has achieved a major victory in its protest against the additional fee hike imposed by St. Helena School. The school administration has decided to completely waive the ₹30,000 admission fee that was being charged to nursery students for the 2024 batch.
Additionally, parents who had already paid the admission fee will receive a full refund. This decision comes after strong opposition and intervention by MNSV, which actively fought for the rights of parents burdened by the unexpected financial demand.
As a result of this fee waiver, around 120 nursery students and their parents have collectively saved approximately ₹36 lakh. This success highlights the impact of student organizations in addressing educational concerns and ensuring fair policies for parents and students alike.
