Pune: A major road accident took place early Monday morning around 5 a.m. on the bridge near Ved Bhavan in Kothrud, involving three to four four-wheelers.
According to preliminary reports, the collision led to one driver being trapped inside a vehicle. The Pune Fire Brigade responded promptly to the scene, extricating the injured individual and ensuring immediate medical attention. The victim was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and is currently undergoing treatment.
The cause of the accident is yet to be confirmed, and authorities are investigating the incident. Traffic on the bridge was temporarily affected but has since been restored.
The incident has raised renewed concerns over road safety and visibility during early morning hours in the area.
