Residents were moved to safe zones as firefighters ensured that no one remained trapped inside the high-rise.
Cause of fire under probe
The cause of the Mumbai residential fire is yet to be determined. Officials said a detailed investigation will begin once final safety checks are completed.
Renewed focus on high-rise fire safety
The incident has once again highlighted fire safety concerns in Mumbai’s high-rise residential buildings. Authorities have urged housing societies to regularly audit fire-fighting systems, refuge areas, and evacuation protocols.
