Pune: The Central Railway’s Pune Division is set to launch a new express train service, Train No. 01401 Hadapsar (Pune) – Jodhpur Special, aimed at improving connectivity between Pune and Jodhpur. The inaugural run is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025, departing from Hadapsar at 5:30 PM and arriving in Jodhpur the following day at 2:00 PM. The return journey, Train No. 01402 Jodhpur – Hadapsar (Pune) One-Way TOD Special, will operate on Sunday, May 4, 2025, leaving Jodhpur at 8:30 PM and reaching Pune at 5:00 PM the next day.
This train will make stops at several key stations, including Chinchwad, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Jawai Bandh, Falna, Rani, Marwar, Pali Marwar, and Luni. The 16-coach configuration comprises 1 AC 2-Tier coach, 4 AC 3-Tier Economy coaches, 5 Sleeper Class coaches, 4 General Second Class coaches, 1 Generator Car, and 1 Luggage cum Guard’s Brake Van.
Advance reservations for Train No. 01401 will commence on May 2, 2025, at 4:00 PM through all computerized reservation counters and the IRCTC website. Passengers opting for unreserved travel can book tickets via the UTS Mobile App at standard superfast mail/express train rates.
