Pune: City has recently welcomed a significant addition to its spiritual and cultural heritage with the opening of the Trimandir—an inclusive temple inspired by the philosophy of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan. Located near Varve Budruk, close to Khed Shivapur on the Pune-Bengaluru Highway, the temple is now open to the public and currently hosting a series of spiritual events.
The Trimandir offers a unique approach to spirituality by uniting three major traditions—Jainism, Vaishnavism, and Shaivism—within a single sacred space. The central deity of the temple is a serene 13-foot marble idol of Tirthankar Shri Simandhar Swami, accompanied by idols of Shri Krishna Bhagwan and Shri Shiva Bhagwan, symbolising religious harmony and mutual respect.
The temple’s concept reflects Dada Bhagwan’s vision of transcending sectarian divides and fostering unity among all spiritual seekers.
The Trimandir was inaugurated in February 2025 with a grand Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav, attracting devotees from across India and abroad. The event featured spiritual discourses by Pujya Deepakbhai Desai and video presentations of teachings by the late Atmagyani Dr. Niruma, focusing on self-awareness and inner transformation.
Spread across approximately 23,000 square feet, the Trimandir campus includes a 7,800-square-foot podium, a dedicated satsang hall, Unodari Bhavan (community dining facility), and accommodation facilities for visitors. The entire premises are designed to be accessible for wheelchair users, reinforcing the temple’s commitment to inclusivity.
In addition to its primary deities, the temple complex also features idols of Tulja Bhavani Mata, Amba Mata, Shrinathji, Shri Ganpatiji, Shri Hanumanji, and Shri Saibaba—further highlighting the temple’s inclusive philosophy.
The Pune Trimandir marks the 20th such temple established across India based on Dada Bhagwan’s teachings. Additional Trimandirs are currently under construction in Veraval, Surat, and Thane, as the movement continues to expand.
With ongoing celebrations drawing large crowds, the newly inaugurated Trimandir serves not just as a place of worship, but also as a hub for peace, reflection, and spiritual development.
