Pimpri Chinchwad: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced that beneficiaries selected for the now-cancelled Ravet project under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) will be allotted flats in Kiwale under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category. Each flat is priced at ₹1,37,718, and beneficiaries interested in availing this opportunity must submit a consent letter to the PCMC by March 15, 2025, as per the directive of PCMC Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh.
755 Flats to Be Allocated in Kiwale
The Kiwale project comprises 755 flats, which will now be distributed among eligible Ravet project beneficiaries under PMAY.
These flats have been categorized as follows:
378 flats for the general category
226 flats for Other Backward Classes (OBC)
98 flats for Scheduled Castes (SC)
53 flats for Scheduled Tribes (ST)
38 flats reserved for differently-abled beneficiaries
Allotment on a First-Come, First-Served Basis
The allocation of these flats will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Beneficiaries must submit their consent letters to the Slum Eradication and Rehabilitation Department. The consent letter draft can be collected from the Deputy Commissioner’s Office at Chafekar Chowk, Chinchwad Gaon. Along with the consent letter, beneficiaries must provide the necessary documents to qualify for the allotment.
Only applicants who meet PCMC’s eligibility criteria will be allotted flats in the Kiwale project. The civic body also reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the allocation process if necessary.
