Pune: In a major breakthrough, the Pune Crime Branch Unit-6 has apprehended 32-year-old notorious burglar Rahul Daggdu Shinde, a resident of Pirangut, Pune. Shinde was caught red-handed with stolen gold ornaments valued at ₹6,40,322 during an operation led by Police Inspector Bahid Pathan.
Further investigation revealed Shinde’s involvement in multiple burglary and vehicle theft cases across the Pune Police Commissionerate’s jurisdiction, including Lonikand, Loni Kalbhor, and Wagheshwar areas.

The successful arrest and case resolutions were made possible through the efforts of the dedicated police team led by Police Inspector Bahid Pathan. Key team members included Assistant Police Inspector Madan Kamble and Police Constables Nitin Munde, Kanifnath Karkhele, Rushikesh Vyavhare, and Balasaheb Rakate.
