Pune: To ensure smooth passenger movement during the ongoing high-demand travel period, the Pune Division of Central Railway, under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Rajesh Kumar Verma, has ramped up crowd management efforts at Pune Station.
Dedicated teams of railway personnel have been deployed round-the-clock to oversee operations, improve passenger convenience, and maintain order. To further streamline the flow of travelers, commercial staff and Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel have been strategically stationed across key areas of the station.
A team led by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Dr. Milind Hirwe, along with Commercial Inspectors, Chief Ticket Inspectors (CTIs), and Station Ticket Collectors (TCs), is actively monitoring and managing station activities.
Measures Implemented:
24/7 crowd management teams to assist passengers.
Queue management at ticket counters and boarding areas for organized movement.
Efficient ticket checking to enhance the travel experience.
Additional ticket windows to expedite passenger processing.
Measures to prevent overcrowding in reserved coaches for better comfort.
These enhanced measures will remain in effect until February 26, 2025, ensuring a safe and efficient journey for all passengers. Travelers are encouraged to cooperate with railway staff, arrive early, and follow the guidelines for a hassle-free experience. Pune Division continues its commitment to providing smooth and passenger-friendly railway services.
