Pune: City commuters will soon experience some relief as one side of the Pune University Road flyover, running from Bremen Circle to E-Square, is set to open for traffic on May 1, 2025. The remaining ramps connecting to Baner and Raj Bhavan are expected to be completed by August 2025.
This crucial infrastructure project aims to ease congestion along one of Pune’s busiest routes, enhancing traffic flow and reducing travel time for daily commuters. The phased opening is expected to provide gradual relief while work continues on the remaining sections.
Shivajinagar MLA Siddharth Shirole acknowledged the contributions of contractors, engineers, authorities, and workers who have played a vital role in the project’s execution. In a social media post, he expressed appreciation for their dedication in bringing this development closer to completion.
