Pune : In a shocking revelation, a NEET 2025 aspirant from Pimpri-Chinchwad has alleged serious discrepancies in her OMR answer sheet, raising concerns over the integrity of one of India’s most important medical entrance exams. The incident has prompted NCP MP Supriya Sule to demand a thorough investigation through an official tweet addressed to the National Testing Agency (NTA) and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Muskan Wasim Shaikh, a dedicated student from Dehu Road, Pimpri-Chinchwad, appeared for the NEET 2025 exam with hopes of pursuing a career in medicine. Having rigorously prepared for two years and studied up to 14 hours a day, Muskan was confident about securing a high rank.

However, on June 4, 2025, when NTA released the official OMR sheets and answer keys on its website, Muskan was shocked to discover that the OMR sheet shown under her login credentials did not belong to her. The sheet allegedly displayed multiple irregularities — including overwriting, mismatched signatures, a forged fingerprint, and even an incorrect spelling of her name. Notably, her mother’s name, which should be “Naseem Shaikh,” was listed as “Asifa Shaikh,” and the roll number appeared tampered with.

Despite her immediate email complaint to NTA on the same day and daily follow-ups through their helpline (01169227700), the family has yet to receive any official response. Initially assured of a reply within two days, Muskan’s family says they are now being ignored. The lack of acknowledgment from NTA has only deepened their anxiety.

Further escalating the matter, Muskan filed a police complaint at the Ravet Police Station after allegedly receiving death threats following her objection to the irregularities in her answer sheet. Her family also reached out to the social organization Apna Watan, whose president Siddiqbhai Shaikh has since contacted both the Union Education Ministry and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, led by J.P. Nadda, highlighting the gravity of the issue.

In solidarity, Apna Watan activists have initiated multi-level efforts to secure justice for Muskan. They have appealed to political leaders including MP Supriya Sule, Rajya Sabha MP Fauzia Khan, and Maval MP Shrirang Appa Barne to intervene.

Taking serious note of the matter, MP Supriya Sule tweeted that such incidents raise serious doubts about the credibility of central examinations like NEET. She has urged Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the NTA to immediately investigate the issue and take appropriate action. Rajya Sabha MP Fauzia Khan has also demanded an inquiry through her own tweet.

This alarming episode casts a shadow over the transparency and reliability of the NEET examination process and calls for an urgent and impartial probe to uphold the faith of millions of students in India’s examination systems.
