Jalgaon: At a time when crimes against women are on the rise in the state, a shocking incident has come to light where even the daughter of a Union Minister is not safe. The daughter of Union Minister Raksha Khadse was harassed by miscreants during a religious yatra. Raksha Khadse herself has lodged a complaint at the Muktainagar police station regarding the incident.

The incident occurred during the grand fair of Adishakti Muktabai held on the occasion of Mahashivratri in Muktainagar. Raksha Khadse’s daughter, Krishika, had gone to the yatra when some miscreants started following her and taking videos of her. Noticing suspicious behavior, her security personnel seized the mobile phone of one of the offenders. However, the miscreants behaved aggressively with the security guard. It was later discovered that the same individuals had previously followed Krishika on another occasion, prompting Raksha Khadse to approach the police and file a formal complaint.

The Adishakti Muktabai Yatra is an annual religious event held during Mahashivratri, featuring various ceremonies. Krishika was engaged in distributing prasad when a youth named Bhoi started following her. Later in the evening, when she went for a stroll with her friends, the same youth, accompanied by a group of troublemakers, pursued her. He even sat in the same amusement ride she was on and recorded videos of her. Sensing something suspicious, her security guard intervened, but the youth aggressively confronted him.

Concerned about her daughter’s safety, Union Minister Raksha Khadse arrived at the Muktainagar police station and filed a complaint against the perpetrators.

Speaking about the incident, Raksha Khadse expressed her concern, stating, “If a minister’s daughter is not safe, what about ordinary girls? I have discussed this issue with the Chief Minister as well.”

She further added, “I don’t know who is backing these miscreants, but this incident has made me realize how often such things might be happening to other girls. These incidents may seem minor, but they must be spoken about. If we remain silent, worse things could happen.”
