Pune: A tragic accident claimed the life of a woman after a speeding dumper collided with a motorcycle on the Badhlawadi-Vadgaon road near Nawalakh Umbre village. The deceased was riding pillion when the heavy vehicle struck the two-wheeler from behind.
According to a complaint filed by Baban Balu Gawde, a resident of Badhlawadi, Taluka Maval, at the Talegaon MIDC police station, the accused Rajusingh Kanshiramji Rude (43), a resident of Sai Khed, Taluka Darwa, District Yavatmal, has been taken into custody. The incident occurred while Gawde and his wife were traveling towards Khandoba Mal in Nawalakh Umbre village.
The impact of the collision caused severe head, chest, and back injuries to the complainant’s wife, resulting in her untimely death. Authorities have arrested the dumper driver, and an investigation is underway to determine further legal action.
