Pune: A tempo met with a serious accident around 8 AM today near Wakdewadi Chowk after it collided with a roadside pole. The impact was severe enough to leave the driver injured, with his leg trapped in the brake pedal of the vehicle.
Fire brigade teams arrived at the scene promptly upon receiving the alert. Acting swiftly, the personnel managed to safely extricate the driver’s leg from the mangled area of the vehicle. Their timely response prevented further complications.
Following the rescue, the injured driver was immediately taken to the hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
