Pune: Central Railway has announced scheduled traffic and power blocks to facilitate the launching of four steel units for the construction of a Road Over Bridge at Level Crossing Gate No. 32 on the Lonavala-Malavali section. These blocks will take place from April 6 to April 8, 2025, and will affect both UP and Down lines between Malavali and Lonavala.
Impact of the Traffic Blocks:
Block 1 – April 6, 2025 (Sunday) from 13:05 hrs to 16:05 hrs:
22159 CSMT-Chennai Express will be delayed at Lonavala until 16:05 hrs.
17222 LTT-Kakinada Express will be delayed at Karjat until 15:20 hrs.
22194 Gwalior-Daund Express will experience a 10-minute delay at Chauk.
Short Termination/Origination of EMU Trains:
99814 Pune-Lonavala EMU & 99816 Shivaji Nagar-Lonavala EMU will terminate at Malavali.
99813 Lonavala-Pune EMU & 99815 Lonavala-Shivaji Nagar EMU will originate from Malavali.
Block 2 – April 7, 2025 (Monday) from 13:05 hrs to 14:35 hrs:
