Pune: A large influx of vehicles due to the long weekend and public holiday has resulted in slow-moving traffic on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Authorities have reported significant congestion, particularly near Khandala Tunnel in Borghat, where two traffic blocks have been implemented since the morning.
To alleviate the growing congestion towards Pune, traffic has been halted before the Khandala Tunnel, aiming to control the flow of vehicles. The situation has worsened with reports of VIP movement further adding to the delays.
