Pune: Two individuals were arrested in connection with an obscene behavior incident that took place in Shastrinagar at around 7:30 AM yesterday. The police promptly responded to the situation, arresting Bhagyash Oswal, one of the suspects. The main accused, Gaurav Ahuja, was later apprehended in Satara.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Himat Jadhav, confirmed that both suspects underwent medical examinations, and the initial reports have been received by the police. The accused have been remanded to judicial custody, with further investigation ongoing.
In a statement, DCP Himat Jadhav emphasized, “The accused will be provided with the facilities and allowances as per the legal provisions while in custody. No external items will be allowed to be given to them.”
The police continue to investigate the case, and the authorities have assured that appropriate legal actions will be taken based on the findings.
