Pune: A case of financial fraud amounting to ₹5 lakh under the pretext of securing college admission has been reported in the Kondhwa area. In this regard, a complaint has been registered with the Kondhwa police.
The accused has been identified as Vinay Dolse, a resident of Pradhikaran, Pimpri-Chinchwad. A complaint in this case was filed by Navjad Meher Bhagwagar (20), a resident of NIBM Road, Kondhwa Khurd, Pune.
According to the police, between April 1, 2024, and November 2024, the accused pretended to befriend the complainant and gained his trust. Using the pretext of securing college admission, he allegedly defrauded the complainant of ₹5 lakh. Kondhwa police have registered a case, and further investigation is being conducted by Assistant Police Inspector Thorat
