Pune: A disagreement over facial charges at a beauty parlour in Narhe escalated into a violent altercation, resulting in injuries to the parlour owner and damage to the premises. Swati Prakash More, 38, the owner of the establishment, has filed a police complaint after allegedly being attacked by a customer and her relatives.
According to police reports, the incident began when a customer, Anjali Thopat, visited the parlour for a facial. A dispute arose when she was charged more than anticipated. The argument intensified, prompting Thopat to call her brother and sister-in-law to the location.
Upon their arrival, the situation quickly turned physical. More alleges that the trio assaulted her using facial sticks, causing injuries to her face and eyes. Additionally, they reportedly vandalized the parlour, damaging the air conditioner and other equipment.
Following the complaint lodged at Sinhagad Road Police Station, a case has been registered against Anjali Thopat, her brother, and sister-in-law under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.
