With an indigenous content of 75%, it is equipped with cutting-edge weapon systems, sensors, and advanced network-centric capabilities. INS Nilgiri, the first ship of the P17A Stealth Frigate Project, features enhanced survivability, seakeeping, and stealth attributes, positioning it as a modern, indigenous frigate. Meanwhile, INS Vaghsheer, the sixth and final submarine of the P75 Scorpene Project, underscores India’s growing expertise in submarine construction, with the project being developed in collaboration with the Naval Group of France.
Later in the day, at approximately 3:30 PM, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple, an ISKCON initiative, at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. Spread across nine acres, the temple complex will house several deities, a Vedic education center, museums, an auditorium, and a healing center. This project aims to promote universal brotherhood, peace, and harmony through Vedic teachings and serve as a beacon for cultural and spiritual enrichment.
Through these high-profile inaugurations, Prime Minister Modi continues to reinforce his vision of strengthening India’s defense capabilities and enriching its cultural landscape.
