Mumbai: A Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus accidentally struck Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s luxury vehicle in Juhu on Wednesday. Officials confirmed that no injuries were reported in the minor incident.
A video of the mishap, capturing the high-end car with a red BEST bus behind it, quickly circulated on social media. Sources stated that Aishwarya was not inside the vehicle at the time of the accident. The car, which did not appear to have sustained significant damage, was seen departing from the spot shortly after.
Tensions rose when a security guard from a bungalow near Amitabh Bachchan’s residence allegedly confronted and slapped the bus driver. The driver, who had stepped out to assess the situation, promptly contacted the police control room.
Police officials arrived at the scene and found that the staff from the bungalow had apologized to the bus driver. The matter was amicably settled, and no formal complaint or FIR was filed. Following the resolution, the bus resumed its route towards Santacruz suburban station.
