Pune : A case has been registered at Vishrambag Police Station following a fire that broke out at the ‘Dhruv Tara’ study center in Parth Complex, Navi Peth, in October 2024. The fire destroyed the educational materials of a student, leading to significant losses.

The complaint was filed by Pradeep Dagdu Khade (33), a resident of Alankar Society, Bibvewadi, who lost his study materials in the fire. In his complaint, Khade has named Vaibhav Dilip Pole (26), the operator of the study center, as the accused.

The fire occurred on October 19, 2024, around 7 AM. According to police sources, the study materials belonging to the complainant were completely destroyed in the incident. The operators, Pole and his wife, ran the study center without obtaining the necessary permissions from authorities. Furthermore, no safety measures were in place to protect students and their belongings.

The authorities have charged the operators with endangering the safety of students and violating government regulations by running the study center without the required permissions.

Police Sub-Inspector Barure is investigating the case. The authorities are expected to take further action based on the ongoing investigation.
