Pune – On January 13, 2025, at approximately 03:32 AM, a fire broke out in a four-story building, Natasha Enclave, located on NIBM Road, Kondhwa Khurd. The fire was reported to have started in a two-wheeler, following which a fire truck from Kondhwa Khurd Fire Station was dispatched.

Upon reaching the scene, the firefighters observed that the two-wheeler had caught fire, and the flames had spread to household items in the galleries of the first and second floors of the building. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, the firefighters ensured no residents were trapped in the building and immediately began extinguishing the fire with water. Within 10 to 15 minutes, they successfully controlled the fire, preventing it from spreading further. Thanks to the alertness of the firefighters, the fire did not spread into any of the apartments, minimizing potential loss of life and property.

In a timely intervention, the firefighters also removed a leaking gas cylinder from one of the apartments, preventing a potential disaster. The salon shop located on the ground floor remained unaffected, and the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

The operation was carried out by Kondhwa Khurd Fire Station officer Kailas Shinde, driver Deepak Kachare, and firefighters Tandale Nilesh Lonkar, Mohan Sans, Sagar Nevge, Anurag Patil, and Ramraj Bagal.
