Pune: A shocking incident has emerged in Wagholi, where four individuals illegally sold a plot of land, defying a Supreme Court order that had imposed a ban on its sale. The accused managed to steal a substantial amount of Rs. 5.70 crore through this illegal transaction. The complainant, Atul Krishnarao Bakane (42), a resident of Wagholi, lodged a complaint with the Wagholi Police Station, which led to the registration of a case against the suspects.
The accused, identified as Ramesh Kondiba Patil, Shubham Dhanaji Jadhavrao, Sudhir Bharat Bhorde, and Prashant Goli, are said to have carried out illegal land sales between 2021 and 2024 across various secondary registration offices in Pune city.
