Mahindra has announced a major push toward strengthening India’s electric mobility ecosystem with the launch of its ultra-fast EV charging network, Charge_IN. As part of this initiative, the company will set up 250 new EV charging stations across the country, each capable of delivering up to 180kW. Two of these stations have already gone live, marking the beginning of a nationwide rollout that aims to reach over 1,000 touchpoints by 2027.

The first Charge_IN stations are now operational on two key highway routes: Hoskote on NH75 near Bengaluru and Murthal on NH44 near Delhi. Each location features two 180kW chargers, enabling fast charging for up to four EVs at the same time, making long-distance EV travel significantly more convenient.

  • Mahindra to install 250 ultra-fast EV charging stations nationwide.

  • Two Charge_IN stations already live on NH75 (Bengaluru) and NH44 (Delhi).

  • Chargers deliver up to 180kW, supporting four EVs simultaneously.

  • More than 1,000 EV charging touchpoints planned by end of 2027.

  • Mahindra EVs can charge 20 to 80 percent in 20 minutes.

  • Accessible to all EV owners via dedicated Mahindra apps.

Mahindra has confirmed that the remaining 248 fast-charging stations will be strategically placed along major highway corridors. All stations will be set up next to wayside amenities like restaurants and cafes, ensuring travellers have comfortable options while their vehicle charges.

The network will support Mahindra’s upcoming electric SUVs  including the BE 6, XEV 9e, and XEV 9S  promising a 20 to 80 percent charge in just 20 minutes. Mahindra EV users can access, charge, and pay through the Me4U app, while owners of other EV brands can use the Charge_IN by Mahindra app to tap into the network.
