Pune :Indian Railways has updated the schedule for the 62nd Vande Bharat Express, a semi-high-speed train launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 16, 2024. This new addition to the fleet of 136 Vande Bharat Express services connects Hubballi in Karnataka to Pune in Maharashtra and is operated by the South Western Railway (SWR) zone. Route and Stoppages: Initially, the SSS Hubballi-Pune Vande Bharat Express had five scheduled stops: Dharwar, Belagavi, Miraj Junction, Sangli, and Satara. An additional stop at Ghatprabha station has now been included in the route. Schedule and Timings: Train number 20669 departs from SSS Hubballi at 05:00 AM, arriving in Pune at 13:30 PM. On the return journey, train number 20670 leaves Pune Junction at 14:15 PM, reaching SSS Hubballi by 22:45 PM. Coach Composition and Frequency: The Vande Bharat Express between SSS Hubballi and Pune consists of eight coaches, including AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car seating options. The train operates three days a week — on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Fare or Ticket Price: The fare for an AC Chair Car seat from SSS Hubballi to Pune is ₹1530, while the Executive Chair Car seat costs ₹2780.
