Pune: A theft occurred in the Kondhwa area where a thief stole one lakh rupees from the trunk of a motorcycle parked on the roadside. A case has been filed against the thief in this regard.
In this case, Wasim Tawfik Khan (47 years old, resident of Ghorpadi village) has filed a complaint at the Kondhwa police station.
According to the police, the complainant Khan is a businessman. On Saturday (March 1), he went to the Kondhwa area for some work and parked his motorcycle by the roadside. At that time, the thief opened the trunk of his motorcycle and stole one lakh rupees in cash.
When Khan returned after some time, he noticed the incident. Upon receiving this information, Senior Police Inspector Vinay Patankar visited the crime scene. The police have reviewed the CCTV footage from the location, and efforts are underway to trace the thief. Police Sub-Inspector Hasina Khan is investigating the case.
