Pune:NCP MP Supriya Sule has strongly condemned the report that allegedly gives a clean chit to Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Dr. Ghaisas in connection with the death of a woman under suspicious circumstances. Calling the report “factually wrong and insensitive”, Sule said it is unacceptable and demanded justice for the victim’s family.

“A daughter, a wife, a mother has died. And yet, such a misleading report has been published? How can any government be so insensitive towards women?” she questioned while addressing the media.

Expressing her outrage, Sule said, “We completely reject this report. It deserves to be in the trash, or even better, it should be burned. We will not stay quiet until justice is delivered.”

She praised Congress leader Prashant Jagtap, who is taking the matter to court, and said the fight for justice will continue both legally and on the streets if necessary. “If needed, we are ready to protest on the roads. We will not rest until the culprits are punished,” she said.

Supriya Sule alleged that the government is trying to shield the accused instead of helping the victim’s family get justice. “If the government fails to ensure justice, then citizens are forced to approach the judiciary. Sadly, this is the situation in our state right now,” she added.

She emphasized that the victim’s death was not just a personal tragedy but a larger issue of institutional apathy and administrative failure. Sule has also met with the Bhise family, the relatives of the deceased woman, and reviewed all case documents personally.

Calling for accountability, Sule demanded that those who drafted and submitted the allegedly false report should also be treated as co-accused. “If someone manipulates the facts to save the guilty, that too is a crime,” she said. “This country is governed by the Constitution, and ultimately, truth always prevails.”

She made it clear that this is not a political fight, but one for human dignity and justice. “The fight is not about party lines. It’s about standing up for humanity,” she asserted.

Sule concluded by saying, “If the government has forgotten humanity, we haven’t. No matter what decisions they take to protect the guilty, we will continue our battle with strength. A young woman has died, and the government is standing behind the accused—this is both shocking and heartbreaking.”
