Pune: A massive fire broke out early this morning at a speaker manufacturing factory located in Manjari Khurd, Pune. The incident occurred around 4:43 AM at a facility spanning approximately 6,000 square feet, which housed materials like paper, iron angles, and other combustible items.
Firefighters from Pune and the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) rushed to the scene with four fire engines. The teams worked swiftly to control the flames, using water from all sides to douse the fire. Within 30 to 45 minutes, the fire was brought under control, and the cooling operations began immediately. During this critical time, the teams made sure no workers were trapped inside the building. They used a JCB to clear debris near the shed and gained access to the premises.
As per the information provided, the fire completely destroyed the factory, consuming machinery and materials including CNC machines, panel saw cutting machines, speakers, amplifiers, plywood, paint cans, fiberglass materials, furniture, and electrical wiring. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported so far.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined, and authorities are investigating the incident. Fire officials confirmed that the situation has been fully handled, with the fire now completely extinguished.
